A glue gun (also known as a glue applicator, glue gun, or glue applicator) is a manual or power-operated tool used for applying glue. Based on the driving method, they are divided into three categories: manual glue guns, pneumatic glue guns, and electric glue guns. Pneumatic glue guns require a compressed air source and are equipped with a silencer, while electric glue guns are powered by rechargeable batteries, allowing for the application of 30-45 tubes of glue on a single charge. This tool is widely used in the construction, decoration, automotive, electronics, and packaging industries. It supports single-component glue packaging such as 310ml/400ml cartridges and sausage-shaped (600ml) cartridges, as well as automatic mixing of two-component glue cartridges (2:1, 4:1 ratio).
Hot melt glue guns dispense glue by heating and melting it. Before use, the glue stick must be inserted and preheated for 3-5 minutes. The nozzle temperature is approximately 200℃. After application, the gun should be placed upright and the barrel cleaned according to specifications. Some models are equipped with a drip-free device, silencer, and glue flow rate regulator. The gun has a replaceable mixing nozzle at the front. The electric glue gun uses an aluminum-steel barrel with a built-in gearbox for stable connection. Avoid contact with high-temperature components during use and do not operate in humid environments. For rechargeable electric glue guns, the continuous heating time should not exceed 15 minutes.
