Manual Structural Adhesive Gun
Manual Structural Adhesive Gun for Controlled 2K Adhesive Dispensing
A manual dual-component adhesive applicator engineered for precise, high-viscosity dispensing of two-part epoxies, acrylics, methyl methacrylates (MMAs), polyurethanes (PUs), and specialty chemical anchor formulations.
Our manual 2K dispensing systems utilize a heavy-duty, twin-drive mechanical plunger mechanism to extract Part A and Part B materials simultaneously in exact volumetric ratios. Dispensed components are driven through a compatible static mixing nozzle, achieving a homogeneous mix without requiring external compressed air lines or electric power.
System Compatibility Notice: Dual-component applicators must be matched to cartridge geometry, fluid viscosity, and volumetric mix ratio (1:1, 2:1, 4:1, or 10:1). Mismatched plungers cause ratio drift, incomplete chemical reaction, and bond failure.

A Manual 2K Structural Adhesive Gun is a mechanical handheld applicator designed for side-by-side or coaxial dual-cartridge dispensing.
Unlike single-component caulking tools, dual-cartridge applicators drive two independent pistons simultaneously. As Part A and Part B exit the cartridge neck, they enter a static mixing nozzle where helical internal elements fold and shear the fluid streams into a uniform reactive mixture.
Standard Operating Sequence
Select Matching Plunger -> Load Dual Cartridge -> Equalize Cartridge Outlet -> Attach Static Mixer -> Trigger Dispense -> Homogeneous Application -> Bond Substrates
The applicator does not alter chemical bond performance; its purpose is to deliver exact volumetric ratios and steady fluid displacement under manual trigger force.

Key Engineering Features
Synchronized Dual-Drive Mechanism
Unequal displacement of Part A and Part B leads to uncured resin pockets and joint failure. Our dual-drive rods lock both cartridge pistons into parallel advancement, maintaining exact ratio delivery across varying component viscosities.
When dispensing 10:1 ratio MMAs or high-viscosity epoxies, component viscosity differential (Part A vs. Part B) can create uneven back-pressure. Always select an applicator with a minimum 26:1 thrust ratio and hardened steel drive plates to prevent frame flex during fast manual strokes.
Mechanical Advantage & Thrust Ratio Options
18:1 Thrust Ratio: Designed for standard 1:1 and 2:1 adhesives under 50,000 cPs viscosity.
26:1 Thrust Ratio: Ideal for medium-to-high viscosity structural acrylics and cold-weather field applications.
35:1 High-Thrust Ratio: Optimized for high-thixotropy paste adhesives and 10:1 ratio formulations requiring maximum extrusion force.
Interchangeable Ratio Plungers
Modular plunger discs allow a single gun frame to support multiple cartridge ratios. Swapping the drive discs converts the tool from a 1:1 setup to 2:1, 4:1, or 10:1 in under one minute, minimizing tool inventory for assembly facilities.
Compatible Structural Adhesive Chemistries
Two-Part Epoxies: High shear and peel strength for metal-to-metal, composite, and concrete bonding.

Marine & Aerospace Composite Bonding: Hull-to-deck joining, bulkhead installation, carbon fiber laminate bonding, and core repair.
General Metal Fabrication & Civil Engineering
Structural steel framing, cabinet seam sealing, chemical anchor stud insertion, and maintenance repair operations.
Step-by-Step Operating & Setup Protocol
Phase 1: Cartridge Equalization (Crucial Step)
Verify Ratio: Confirm that the installed plunger disc geometry matches the cartridge ratio labeled (1:1, 2:1, 4:1, or 10:1).
Load Cartridge: Insert the dual cartridge into the front carriage cradle until fully seated.
Equalize Flow: Before attaching the static mixer, squeeze the trigger to extrude a small amount of material from both cartridge ports until both Part A and Part B flow evenly. This eliminates trapped air pockets and restores volumetric alignment.
Phase 2: Dispensing & Joint Application
Attach Static Mixer: Thread or twist-lock the recommended static mixer onto the cartridge manifold.
Purge Initial Bead: Dispense a small test bead (approx. the length of the mixer) until the fluid shows a uniform color and consistency.
Dispense Bead: Hold the tip at a 45-degree angle to the joint path and pull the trigger with smooth, continuous pressure.
Join & Clamp: Assemble components within the adhesive's published working time (open time).
Post-Dispense Maintenance: Relieve drive rod pressure via the thumb release plate to prevent unmixed adhesive drool from contaminating the mixer interface.
