1.Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean all bonding surfaces to remove dust, dirt, oil, grease, rust, and loose particles. For porous surfaces (concrete, wood), lightly sand and clean again. Ensure surfaces are dry (moisture content ≤ 5%) to maximize adhesion.
2.Backer Rod Installation (for wide joints): Insert a closed-cell backer rod into joints wider than 6mm to control adhesive depth. The backer rod should be 20-30% larger than the joint width to ensure proper compression and elasticity.
3.Nozzle Setup: Cut the cartridge nozzle at a 45° angle to match the joint or gap width (suitable for gaps 1mm-50mm). Attach the nozzle to the cartridge and load it into a standard caulking gun.
4.Application: Apply a continuous, uniform bead of adhesive along the bonding surface or joint, pressing firmly to ensure full contact. For structural bonding, apply adhesive in a zig-zag pattern to maximize coverage. Work in small sections to avoid adhesive skinning before tooling.
5.Tooling: Smooth the adhesive bead with a water-moistened tool or finger within 10-15 minutes of application to create a neat, seamless finish. Remove excess adhesive with a damp cloth or isopropyl alcohol immediately.
6.Curing: Allow the adhesive to cure undisturbed for 24-48 hours. Avoid applying load, water exposure, or substrate movement during the curing period. Full elasticity and bonding strength are achieved after 7 days (25°C, 50% RH).

Important Notes: Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or above 40°C, or in direct sunlight or heavy rain. For structural applications, consult a professional engineer to determine the appropriate adhesive dosage and joint design. Keep away from children and pets. Ensure adequate ventilation during application. In case of skin contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water; for eye contact, seek medical attention. Do not use for continuous submersion in strong chemical solutions.
