1.Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean all surfaces to remove dust, dirt, oil, grease, rust, and loose particles. For porous surfaces (concrete, masonry), lightly sand and clean again. Ensure surfaces are dry before application.
2.Masking (Optional): Apply masking tape to the edges of the joint to achieve a neat finish and protect adjacent surfaces from excess sealant.
3.Nozzle Setup: Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to match the width of the joint (suitable for joint widths from 5mm to 50mm). Attach the nozzle to the cartridge and load it into a standard caulking gun.
4.Application: Apply a continuous, uniform bead of sealant along the joint, pressing firmly to ensure full contact with both surfaces. For vertical joints, start from the top and work downward to avoid sagging.
5.Tooling: Smooth the sealant bead with a water-moistened tool within 10-15 minutes of application to ensure proper adhesion and a smooth finish. Remove masking tape immediately after tooling.
6.Curing: Allow the sealant to cure undisturbed for 24-48 hours. Avoid water exposure, heavy loads, and structural movement during the curing period. Full strength is achieved after full curing.

Important Notes: Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or above 40°C. Avoid application in direct sunlight or heavy rain. For joints wider than 50mm, consult our technical support team for suitable backer rod recommendations. Keep away from children and pets during application. Ensure adequate ventilation in enclosed areas. In case of skin contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water; for eye contact, seek medical attention.
