High-Expansion, Waterproof Insulating Sealant
Introducing our professional-grade Polyurethane Foam Sealant A4 Type, a high-performance one-component foam sealant engineered for gap filling, insulation, and waterproofing across residential, commercial, and industrial applications. As a premium A4-type formulation, it offers controlled expansion, strong adhesion, and excellent thermal insulation-making it the ideal choice for sealing windows, doors, cracks, and joints. Trusted by contractors, builders, and DIY enthusiasts, this polyurethane foam sealant delivers reliable, long-lasting results with superior airtight and watertight performance.
Key Advantages of Polyurethane Foam Sealant A4 Type

Controlled A4-Type Expansion
Designed with A4-type controlled expansion technology (3-5x volume expansion), this foam sealant fills gaps and cracks of 10mm-100mm width precisely without over-expanding or damaging substrates. It adapts to irregular gaps and joints, ensuring full coverage and a tight seal-outperforming standard foam sealants in precision applications like window and door installations.
Waterproof & Airtight Sealing
Cures to a closed-cell, non-porous foam structure that provides 100% waterproof and airtight protection. It blocks water intrusion, air leakage, and moisture penetration, reducing energy loss and preventing mold growth. Ideal for exterior and wet-area applications, including roof joints, foundation gaps, and bathroom fixtures.

Strong Adhesion to Multiple Substrates
Delivers exceptional adhesion to concrete, masonry, wood, metal, PVC, and most building materials-no primer required for most substrates. Forms a permanent bond that resists peeling, cracking, and separation, ensuring structural stability and long-term sealing performance for both interior and exterior projects.
Thermal & Acoustic Insulation
The closed-cell foam structure offers excellent thermal insulation (thermal conductivity λ ≤ 0.035 W/(m·K)) and sound absorption properties. It reduces heat transfer, lowers energy bills, and minimizes noise pollution-perfect for insulating walls, floors, ceilings, and HVAC ducts in residential and commercial buildings.

All-Weather Durability
Withstands extreme temperatures from -40°C (-40°F) to 80°C (176°F), resisting freeze-thaw cycles, UV radiation, and harsh weather conditions. Does not degrade, shrink, or brittle over time, ensuring long-lasting performance for exterior applications in all climates-from tropical to frost-prone regions.
Fire-Retardant (Optional)
Available in a fire-retardant variant (meets DIN 4102 B2/E2 standards) for applications requiring fire safety, such as commercial buildings, public spaces, and HVAC systems. The fire-retardant foam slows flame spread and reduces smoke emission, enhancing overall building safety.
Easy Application & Curing
One-component, moisture-cured formula for hassle-free application with a standard foam gun. Offers a working time of 8-10 minutes at 25°C, allowing for precise positioning and adjustment. Tack-free in 20-30 minutes and fully cured in 24 hours, enabling fast project progression and reduced downtime.
Versatile A4-Type Applications
Tailored for A4-type precision scenarios, including window/door frame installation, gap filling in walls/floors, insulation of pipes and ducts, and sealing of expansion joints. Suitable for residential renovations, commercial construction, and industrial maintenance projects.

Ideal Applications

Our Polyurethane Foam Sealant A4 Type is designed for precision sealing, insulation, and gap filling across diverse projects, including:
•Window & Door Installation: Sealing gaps between frames and walls for airtight, watertight, and insulated joints.
•Building Envelopes: Filling gaps in walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs to reduce energy loss and air leakage.
•Plumbing & HVAC: Insulating and sealing pipe penetrations, ductwork, and HVAC connections to prevent heat loss and noise.
•Exterior Projects: Sealing expansion joints, foundation gaps, and roof joints to resist water intrusion and weather damage.
•Interior Renovations: Insulating interior walls, soundproofing rooms, and filling gaps in furniture and fixtures.
•Industrial Maintenance: Sealing gaps in factory walls, warehouse doors, and industrial equipment (dust and moisture-proof).
•DIY Home Repairs: Filling cracks in walls, sealing around windowsills, and insulating small gaps with easy application.
Step-by-Step Application Guide
1.Surface Preparation: Clean the gap and surrounding area to remove dust, dirt, oil, and moisture. Ensure surfaces are dry for optimal adhesion-moisture accelerates curing but excess water may affect performance.
2.Shake & Attach: Shake the aerosol can vigorously for 60 seconds to mix the formula evenly. Attach the can to a standard foam gun (for bulk kits) or use the built-in nozzle (for aerosol cans).
3.Application: Apply the foam into the gap, filling it 1/3 to 1/2 full (accounting for 3-5x expansion). Apply in a continuous bead, working from bottom to top for vertical gaps to avoid air bubbles.
4.Expansion & Trimming: Allow the foam to expand fully (10-15 minutes). Once tack-free (20-30 minutes), trim excess foam with a utility knife to achieve a neat finish before full curing.
5.Painting & Finishing: After full curing (24 hours), the foam can be painted, sanded, or plastered to match the surrounding surface. For outdoor applications, seal with a weatherproof coating for extra UV protection.
6.Cleanup: Clean tools and nozzles immediately after use with polyurethane foam cleaner-cured foam can only be removed mechanically.
Important Notes: Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C. Keep away from open flames and high heat sources-uncured foam is flammable. Ensure adequate ventilation during application. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; wear protective gloves and goggles. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not use for load-bearing applications or to seal gaps in high-pressure pipes.
